The newspaper clipping attached to the back of the photograph has the caption "Lou Landini, Oaks catcher, relaxes at home between games with members of his family. In first photo Lou gets an assist from his wife, Cathy (right), and son Lou Jr., 5, as he takes a picture of 15-month-old Terry Ann. In right picture Lou strikes a familiar pose as he plays catch with Lou Jr. Lou, a native of San Francisco, has done a great job filling in for Lennie Neal, regular Oakland backstop who has been plagued with injuries. The 26-year-old Landini is a graduate of Galileo High. (Story on Page 54.)" The clipping is stamped "TR E JUL 15 1954." The reverse of the photo is stamped "Leo Cohen July 14 1954."
