Photo was taken in the aftermath of the 1989 Earthquake. It shows two paramedics or they may be from the Sheriff's office, a man and a woman. They are carrying a stretcher between them with a body on it covered in plastic. They are on top of the collapsed Cypress structure. Bent and twisted metal debris hanging from the freeway. This was one of a group of photographs taken after the earthquake which earned the Oakland Tribune a Pulitzer Prize.
