There are three Tribune clippings attached to the back of the photo; the first, dated July 29, 1982 reads "LIVERMORE AIR SHOW The 1982 Great Livermore Air Show Sunday had planes (far left [not shown]) soaring gracefully in the sky. On the ground (below left [not shown]) Col. Greg "Pappy" Boyington autographs a book for Sherrill P.Shurtleff. Other sights of the show included (below) a team from the California parachute Club coming to earth. A display of antique, home-built and World War II-era planes (bottom left [not shown]) was another attraction of the show." The second clipping, dated July 24, 1985, reads Members of the California parachute Club float to ground." The third, dated July 23, 1986, reads "Parachute club members floated to the ground in past show." A pair of chutists in tandem, one apparently above the other, are jsut about to land as spectators watch. Parked aricraft are on the far side of the airplanes.
