[The rounded peak an inch below the skyline is named Old Man Mountain, and the larger of the two lakes at upper left center is Fordyce Lake [JM 10/24/2000] The Southern Pacific railroad tracks parallel Highway 40, later named Interstate 80. The swath of cleared land at left lower is the right of way for overhead power lines.
