Tribune captions on the back, April 7, 1968-- "Street car tracks on Mission Street alongside San Francisco Post Office took on the appearance of a roller coaster in the April 1906 'quake." Jan. 18, 1987-- "Street car tracks on Mission street buckled in the 1906 quake." Photo shows the cobblestone street with the tracks running down the street. The road is buckled and curved from the earthquake. The post office appears to be intact on the left side. Written on the original negative on the left side "Effects of earthquake near post office.
