Tribune caption on the back, March 8, 1973 "Home after six years of captivity inNorth Vietnam Capt. Michael Kerr with son and daughter and wife, Jerri, at Travis yesterday." Sept. 8, 1991, "Vietnam POW Capt. Michail Kerr rejoins family in 1973 at Travis Air Force Base after six yeas in captivity." Photo shows Capt. Kerr bent down to hug his two small children. Both children have their arms wrapped around their father. Their mother is standing right beside them. The son is holding an American flag in his hand as he hugs his father.
