Content description:
This is a photographic negative of an Sacramento Solons' baseball batter running toward first base. The runner is about two steps away from the base as his right foot is coming down on the ground. The Oakland Oaks' first baseman is outstretched making a play on the thrown ball as his right foot is still on the bag and his knee is on the ground. Apparently the runner is out. The shot was taken from the first base side toward the infield and the stands behind the dugout and toward left field can be seen.
