The second reads, "This photo has been paid for. Sent in by Dick Houghton with THE PICNIC LINE manuscript Sept. 2, 1947-- $75.00 for ms. and photos." Photo shows a four car passenger train stopped at a station. In the background are several large house on the hillside. Next to the train in the yard of the train station are three large, covered buggies filled with people. There are also two open carrages, also filled with people. Several other smaller horse and buggies are nearby as well as two men with bicycles. A sign on the side of the train station says, "Los Gatos-- Ticket office S.P. Co. Tickets sold to the East and Europe.
