Handwritten on the back, "C.W. Steines." This is a portrait of C.W. Steines. C.W. Steines is made merchandise manager of the Emporium. In 1923 he is made general manager and in 1928 he is elected president of the Emporium Capwell corporation. In 1929 he retired and in 1930 he died.
