Content description:
Photo shows possibly Market St. following the 1906 earthquake. Bricks and other rubble litters the street. Flames are billowing out the windows of a building down the street on the left and smoke is rolling down the street toward the photographer. A few men are visible walking on the sidewalks and across the street. Photo was probably made from the original glass negative which is missing from the Tribune collection.
