Highlights of the December 1969 panel presented by three panelists: Mary Katherine, Graduate Women's Sociology Caucus; Florence McDonald, AFSCME Local 1695; Babette Chamberlain, Faculty Wife and Mother. Description of NOW Job Discrimination meeting held in SF on Jan. 10, 1970 and announcement of upcoming conference "Women: Breaking the Shackles" scheduled for end of month. Mention of Shirley Chisholm appearance. Members were also urged to send letters or telegrams to President Richard M. Nixon urging the appointment of Congresswoman Martha W. Griffith to the Supreme Court of the United States. Announcement of first meeting of 1970 of the Status of Women Commission to be held on January 20, 1970, Governor's Council Room, State Capitol, Sacramento.
