In the center are instructions. They read, "Public outcry (A) energizes weapons Lab director (B) Who presses lever (C), raising door (D) of flea box fleas (E) escape and jump on imitation Russian Bear (F) causing it to roar. Member of congress (G) who has his ear to the ground to detect popular mood is frightened, and sprints in lap of D.O.E. official (H) whose increased weight depresses trough (I) thus pouring more money into Regent's fund (J) which lowers see-saw (K), effectively squashing any principles (L). Stick (M) is raised, bringing lettuce (N) into reach of the 1978 Gerbal committee (O) whose excited squeals are translated by a digital monkey (P). As the typed pages fall on to the platform (Q) it is lowered till tipped by the rod (R) causing the strings to be tightened and the front legs of the chair (T) to be raised. The report (U) slides beneath the chair legs, keeping the chair in a comfortable position beneath sleeping U.C. Administrator (V).
