A low altitude aerial view of the Alameda County ccourthouse, with Lake Merritt as a backdrop at left center. The billboard that advertised Chervrolet cars in 2000.1.1056 is now shown from the back. Automobiles are in motion and also parked on the street. A pile driver is at work on a roadway near the southwest shore of Lake Merritt. Two- and thre-story apartment buildings, and commercial buildings can be seen at center and upper left on the far side of the Courthouse.
