Handwritten on the back, "Hibernia Savings Bank at corner[?] of Jones, McAllister and Market- temporary police station established these." Photo shows the remains of the bank with is skelatal dome and fire damaged walls. Rubble from the building and the other surrounding buildings litters the street. A sign hanging across the front columns of the building says "Harbor Police Station." The buildings further down the street are all in ruins, some with just a couple of walls still standing. Directly in front of the bank building are several piles of lumber and a horse and wagon. People are walking around in the scene. Up at the top of the bank building, under the burned out dome is a man standing in an opening looking down at the street. Handwritten at the bottom left corner of the print (which appeared on the original negative)- "Estey and Rogers 1012 Fillmore St., S.F." Photo was probably made from the original glass negative which is missing from the Tribune collection.
