The only guidance for this photo is the notation on the back: "Toodles & California poppies Berkeley 1925" [Not much help. JM 9/21/2000] At any rate, the woman wears a long light colored dress, she has a choker at her neck, a hat is perched on her head, and she carries a bunch of California poppies in front of her at waist height. She is posed, standing underneath an oak [?] tree.
