Sterling silver and 24kt gold brooch.
Content description:
A sterling silver brooch in a curving, undulating trapezoidal form. The silver appears to be layered on itself and the textured surface is punctuated by random swathes of 24kt gold. In this phase of her career, Florence Resnikoff was experimenting with the ancient Korean technique of colloidal diffusion, Keum-boo (meaning attached gold).
