Original envelope read, "United States Navy Ship - 'Mothball Fleet.' Written on back of photograph, "Seven ships in the Suisun ghost fleet broke loose from their moorings -- two navy tugs (left) enroute to their aid." In photograph, three rows of ships are seen anchored in bay. Seven ships are seen slightly apart from the tow where they were attached. Stamped on back of photograph, "Russ Reed" "Dec 14 1967" "Plane flown by Warren Boggess, Pacific States, Aviation Concord.
