According to an undated Tribune clipping affixed to the back of the photo, the image is of Engine No 7 [added] and truck (No. 5) at 59th and San Pablo. The engine is inside a corrugated metal fire house. Two firemen are steadying the team of one black and one white horse. Seven firemen are posed seated on the fire engine, while two more are standing near the front wheels, at right.
