Photo shows an intersection, possibly on Market in San Francisco, following the destruction of the 1906 earthquake. The building on the right of the photo appears to be a store and possibly a bar which advertises "Pabst Berr on draught 5cents." A huge pile of bricks and other debris is on the sidewalk and street in front of the store. Also a big puddle of water is in the middle of the street in front of the debris. Across the street is a large building whose signs cannot be read in this print. This building appears to be in tact. A crowd of men are gathered in the middle of the street and a few others are walking further down the street. Smoke from the fires is hanging in the air and rolling down the streets toward the men.
