This paper cut was given to the donor by Emily Marsh when the family visited her in Cornwall, CT. Emily Marsh and Mrs. Uchida had been pen pals when they were school girls: Marsh in the United States and Mrs. Uchida in Japan. Marsh gave Keiko Uchida a different paper cut, so this one was specifically meant for Yoshiko.
