From back of photo: "March Fong speaking at nurses rally, Mosswood Park." "Fong 1 col x 3# 1st Mon foe(?)" See also Added Info. Photo is of Mrs. Fong before a microphone. Her dark hair is done in a soft bouffant/teased style with bangs covering half her brow. She is smiling (teeth showing). She is wearing a suit that has a vertical pattern of different colored stiches and waves and buttons down the front. With this suit she wears a dark mock turtleneck sweater and a strand of same-sized pearls. The necklace clasp with three much smaller pearls is just to the side in front near her right lapel. She is also wearing pearl earrings. In front of her is a microphone on a stand. The microphone has a large round head covered with "mesh" and is held in place by a long pole, microphone stand. It appears the microphone can be taken off the stand and hand held if desired. In the background, out of focus, appears to be trees with small circles of light. There may be a building or wall behind Mrs. Fong also. Pasted on back of photo is a caption cut out from newspaper: "March Fong says women must have freedom. July 1, 1974.
