Red rayon scarf. It is folded and tied into a large, decorative knot, worn at the center front. This red tie was worn by the Senior students at Hamlin's School, with the white middy (H97.98.15). It is tied together with a small knot, fastening the two ends. This small knot was worn at the center back of the middy, under the large squared collar. The large front knot weighted the tie, so that it fell to approximately to the hips (down the front of the middy).
