Poster has a large image of a man's face in brown with black accents. Below the image is "Rev. Ben Chavis of the Wilmington 10. Along the top and right edges is white and green text. Poster reads, "March on Raleigh/ For labor and human rights Sept 6 1976 Free the Wilmington 10 & the Charlotte 3/ National alliance against racist & political repression/ 150 Fifth Ave. Room 804 NY, NY 10011 (212) 243-8555." [Of these two racially charged cases in the South, the Charlotte 3 is less known. Three black men were convicted of a Charlotte, North Carolina riding stable fire in 1968 in which fifteen horses died. They were sentenced to a total of 55 years in prison. -LMC]
