The Emporium Capwell's Country club was purchased in 1925 in Fairfax, Marin County. An ad in "The Domes Echoes", the company magazine, read, "How much do your weekends cost? For $2.65 you can have all this at your country club: Round Trip .60 Bed .50 Dinner .65 Luncheon .50 The country club was discontinued in 1937 and leased to a boys school.
