Caption on front "SAN FRANCISCO, DEC.1--BIRDS HAVE FLOWN, BUT NOT THE HIPPIES--It was a cold, grey day yesterday, but it didn't stop this group of hippies from holding a post-Thanksgiving party on the beach at Aquatic Park on San Francisco's North Beach. A rousing fire and a gallon jug of wine helped to make the "scene" bearable for the group. A hardy few tried the nature routine but didn't have their outer garments off for long.
