Content description:
Two young, physically fit, African-American men in gym shorts, t-shirts, white socks, and athletic shoes are standing in front of a retail store, "Sneakers Plus." Each man resting a foot on the rim of a short steel barrel, full of athletic shoes. Each is holding in one hands more shoes, while also holding onto a display sign which explains what the barrel of shoes is all about. The printing on the sign (is small, and hard to read in this print, but it generally) explains that they are collecting used shoes for the homeless in exchange for a $7 discount on a new pair from their store, Sneakers. On verso is the handwritten text, in blue ballpoint pen, "Demont Price and William Brew hold used tennis shoes that customers turn in for a $7.00 discount and they give shoes to the homeless." Also on verso is the stamped text, "Jul 23 1992" and "Matthew J. Lee.
