Photograph shows Joan Merriam sitting at a press conference. She is sitting behind a table with two microphones in front of her. She is smiling. There is some handwritting on the back, probably made by Bill Crouch, but it is illegible. Merriam duplicated Amelia Earhart's flight around the world in 1964. Original envelope said "Merriam, Joan A. Lady Flier, died 2-17-65.
