The Tribune photo, dated December 3, 1982, has the following caption on the back: "Kissie [l] Almanza, ,5, and Lisa Bradley [r], 11, play with doll." the children are palying with their dolls on a frigned leather garment. Behind them there is a sign which reads "Summ__ _cHOOL FOR ___________ PROGRAM." The outfits on the dolls resemble traditional garments worn by Native Americans. It is logical to assume that the girls themselves are of native American descent.
