Willie Mays was an outfielder for the Giants. He joined the New York Giants in 1951 and moved with the team to San Francisco in 1957. He broke the Nationla League lieftime home run record in 1966 and was named baseball player of the decade in 1970. He traded to the New York Mets in 1972 and retired a year later. Throughout his 22 year career he hit 660 home runs.
