Envelope reads, "Hughes, 8-19-16." Negative shows a man and a woman standing in the middle of a crowd. Everyone is laughing and smiling. The man is shaking hands with a little girl standing in front of him. The man might be Charles Evans Hughes who had a long judicial career and was an associate judge of the U.S. Supreme court between 1910-1916 and also ran against Woodrow Wilson for the presidency in 1916 [DMC, 2-28-96].
