On the lower bed a woman is sitting while taking a shoe off. Large curtains can be seen at the sides of the image. Verso has pasted on newspaper clipping with the text: "Its 'good-night time' aboard the 26-ton Hawaiian Clipper which / will leave Alameda next week to inagurate transpacific passenger / service.
