This is a photographic negative of a Sacramento Solons batter about to reach first base. The first baseman (#19) is stretched out attempting to make a play on the runner. The fielder's left foot is on the base and the glove is in the air seemingly with the ball in its grasp. The umpire in between them both but in the background - ten feet toward second base. The shot was taken from the first base side.
