Content description:
This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks player. The man is in a pose where he is making it look like he just swung the bat he is holding. He is standing just near home plate and the Grand Stands. (D. Curry, 4/30/02) A PCL researcher believes this player is Rafael "Ray" Noble, who was a catcher for the Oaks in 1950, when there were few African American catchers.
