Tribune caption on the back, Oct. 10, 1953-- "Action by hardtops such as pictured above will be but one half of the show when the weekly auto racing show takes place at Oaks Ball Park tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow's program will mark the first Bay area appearance of jalopies. Time trials get under way on the one-quarter mile track at 1 p.m. Racing begins at 2 o'clock."
